250 Patients Recruited! - 2009-12-07
University College Hospital, London recruited the 250th patient to the OSCAR trial today (7 December 2009)!

25% of patients recruited to OSCAR - 2009-08-31
On 16th August 2009 the 201 patient was recruited to OSCAR! Colleagues from The Royal Cornwall Hospital Truro (General ICU) were responsible for entering this particular patient.

Additional funding!!! - 2009-08-31
We would like to bring you up to date with some exciting news. You may have been aware that since June 2008 we have been working with the funding body to secure additional funding to increase the number of sites collaborating in the OSCAR trial. We have recently received news that we have been successful, and are able to take on additional sites!

OSCAR hits 200! - 2009-08-14
On 14th August 2009 the 200th patient was recruited to OSCAR! Colleagues from Manchester Royal Infirmary (General ICU) were responsible for entering this particular patient. A big thank you to all our units for hard work to date. We are well on our way to identifying the appropriate treatment for patients with ARDS!

100th Patient Recruited! - 2008-12-11
On 10th December 2008 OSCAR recruited its 100th patient from Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
